Judge Roger Rickmon

Judge Rickmon earned his Bachelor of Arts from Lewis University and earned his Juris Doctor from the John Marshall Law School. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1970 until his honorable discharge as a Sergeant in 1974, having been awarded eight Air Medals and a Vietnam Service Medal. “The Marine Corps motto, meaning “Always Faithful,” signifies Judge Rickmon’s dedication to his principles. Judge Rickmon practiced law for over 30 years in private practice before being appointed to the bench. He spent the last 14 years as an Associate Judge and Circuit Court Judge of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit, the last two years as Chief of the Civil Division.
